From the beginning, the mission and ministry of Explorer Bible
Study has been to make quality, in-depth curriculum available to
groups - large or small - that had a desire to dig deep in God's
Word. There are two ways your church or group can obtain the
study materials.
The first is as an authorized Explorer's Bible Study Class. There are certain requirements and procedures that must be met, but in general, an Explorer's class is an interdenominational group with members and leadership representing various local churches, who
meet together in a "host church" for weekly study. Since this class is not sponsored by any particular church in the community, Explorer's Bible Study provides training and support for classes of this type and gives approval for the teachers. Explorer's classes are financially supported through voluntary enrollment contributions.
Church Ministry classes are part of a single church or group. Types of classes
within this structure might include Men's or Women's Ministry, Discipleship,
small group or home study, and Sunday School classes. These classes are under the sponsorship and authority of the church they are associated with - selecting leaders and directing the use of the materials. Church Ministry classes usually purchase the curriculum on a retail basis.
